Italian sidecars championship

Hello Everybody,

Only to inform you that in Italy there will be a National championship open to foreign drivers who wants to drive in Italy.



1. 6 Maggio Autodromo dell’Umbria - Magione (PG)

2. 15 Luglio Autodromo di Franciacorta - Castrezzato (BS)

3. 2 Settembre Autodromo di Franciacorta - Castrezzato (BS)

4. 23 Settembre Autodromo dell’Umbria - Magione (PG)

5. 14 Ottobre Autodromo di Franciacorta - Castrezzato (BS)




Main points are the following :

5 races ( 4 best results for the championship point )
Points as in the solo bikes ( 25...20....16...) up to 15th place and 5 points for every scrutineering before the race as presence point.
2 qualifying practice, eventual warm up on Sunday morning, finale A for the best ones and a Finale B if there are up to 6 teams exceeding the grid places.
No time limit 15% application
Races of 25 minutes minimum
All the foreign team can have points in the championship.
500 c.c. 2 strokes, up to 1200 c.c. 4 strokes
F2 sidecars are allowed and if there are 3 of them they wil have a separate standing for the single race.
If there will be F2 separate standing in three different races there will be also a final official championship standing for F2 only.
F2 sidecars will receive points also for the general standing of the championship.
Oiltray of five liter capacity (minimum) is required under the oil sump of the engine
Oil exceedings must finish in a one liter tank
Exhaust sound limit fixed to 105 db with 3 more db tolerance
Entry fee : 250 euro to the organizers 15 days before the race (after that date the entry will be 300 euros)
